ABOUT RESCUE THE WHALES CHARITY
Rescue the Whales was founded in 2005 in an effort to decrease the continued
suffering of whales in the sea due to both natural and human causes. While many
believe that the 1986 ban on Whaling has protected Whales, it is not enough.
Capture, Pollution and the killing of Whales is still a major problem and these
are the three things that Rescue the Whales have set out to try and stop.
The charity is run by a small number of volunteers who are always looking for additional help. The task ahead of us is huge, the problem is one which is worldwide and needs constant attention, it is therefore crucial that additional volunteers come forward to help us further increase the amount of projects we can take part in as well as help in further educating the public on what is happening in the worlds oceans. |
